Employment and skills provider, Reed in Partnership, who are currently working towards achieving Green Mark Level 1, were proud to be awarded the 2013 National ESF Sustainable Development Mainstreaming Leader Awards (Policy and Plan) at a ceremony on Thursday.
The award recognised the teams’ efforts to provide a socially responsible service that minimises its environmental impact as part of Reed’s Right Futures programme. The national assessment panel commentated on the clear planning that transforms the company’s commitment to sustainability into straightforward, practical action.
The award was accepted at the ESF Leader Awards ceremony at UK Skills Show in Birmingham by Eleanor Gaskell-Taylor, Continuous Improvement Manager. As well as receiving the award, Eleanor gave a presentation to share Reed's best practices and some tips for achieving sustainable development. As part of the award, Reed in Partnership will be sent a pack of native English trees sourced from the Woodland Trust charity.
