Every OFG site follows a Central Sustainability Policy, ensuring a unified approach to environmental responsibility. This consistency means sustainability isn’t just a buzzword, it’s a shared commitment across the organisation.
Practical actions that make a difference
Schools like Ashley Park School are leading the way by improving staff awareness of energy-saving practices. From email reminders and visual prompts to appointing Energy Champions, these initiatives are supported by checklists, induction training, and progress monitoring, creating a culture of accountability and engagement.
Other sites, such as Belmont Primary School, have embraced OFG’s centralised work-from-home policy, reducing environmental impact through smarter working practices. Meanwhile, The Tower School and others ensure sustainable procurement by adhering to the Supplier Code of Conduct and Procurement Policy.

The Greater Horseshoe School hosts an annual “Green Up” Day, where students plant herbs, fruit, and wildflowers across their sites.
